Houston Mobile Battery Replacement Services


Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or scheduling services with Rapid Roadside (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By scheduling services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.


1. Overview of Services

Rapid Roadside provides mobile car battery testing and replacement services within the state of Texas. Services are performed by our in-house technicians.

We do not operate as a referral or dispatch marketplace. We provide direct mobile service. We do not provide reimbursement services.


2. Payment Terms & Conditions

Service & Dispatch Fee

A standard mobile dispatch and diagnostic fee applies to all service calls. This fee covers travel and on-site testing and is non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched.


Pricing & Charges

All service pricing is provided upfront before dispatch. Pricing may vary based on vehicle type, location, time of service, and battery specifications.


Final Charges

Once a technician has arrived on-site, charges for dispatch and diagnostics are final and non-refundable.


Payment Due

Full payment is due at the time of service.


Credit Card Authorization

By providing payment information, you authorize Rapid Roadside to charge the agreed-upon amount for services rendered.


3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellations must occur before technician dispatch.

If a technician has already been dispatched:

  • The dispatch/diagnostic fee will apply.

If the client is:

  • Unresponsive
  • Not present upon arrival
  • Unable to provide access
  • The visit will be treated as a no-show and applicable fees will apply.


4. Service Scope & Limitations

Rapid Roadside provides:

  • Mobile battery testing
  • Mobile battery replacement
  • Basic charging system checks


We do not guarantee that all starting issues are battery-related. If diagnostics reveal alternator failure, parasitic draw, or other electrical faults, additional services may be required and are not included in the standard battery replacement service.


5. Battery Warranty

Rapid Roadside offers a limited warranty on battery units only, subject to the terms outlined below


Coverage

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal private-passenger vehicle use during the stated warranty term.

If approved, our sole obligation is one of the following:

  • Replacement battery of equal or equivalent specifications.

Warranty applies to the battery unit only. Labor, travel, and service fees are not included.


Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not apply if failure results from:

  • Incorrect application or undersized battery
  • Vehicle modifications or aftermarket electronics
  • Improper installation or third-party tampering
  • Abuse, collision, water intrusion, fire, theft
  • Alternator failure, charging system faults, parasitic draw
  • Extended non-use causing discharge
  • Deep-cycle or standby use (unless battery was rated for such use)
  • Normal wear or end-of-life degradation


Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, customers must:

  • Retain and present original receipt
  • Maintain charging system and terminals
  • Operate vehicle regularly or use a maintainer if stored
  • Not remove serial labels or date codes


Warranty Claims

To initiate a claim, customer must contact us to schedule a warranty diagnostic visit.

A Mobile/On-Site Diagnostic & Dispatch Fee of $109 applies per warranty visit.


If the battery fails testing under warranty:

  • Replacement battery will be provided
  • No additional labor fee will apply for that visit


If battery passes testing:

  • Claim is denied
  • Diagnostic fee remains applicable

All replaced batteries become the property of Rapid Roadside.

Warranty is non-transferable.


6. Refund & Dispute Policy

Dispatch and diagnostic fees are non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched. Battery purchases are non-refundable once installed, except as provided under the limited warranty.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Rapid Roadside is not liable for:

  • Towing costs
  • Rental vehicle expenses
  • Lost wages
  • Lost profits
  • Delays
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Total liability is limited to the original battery purchase price or the applicable warranty remedy.


8. Service Area

Rapid Roadside provides services within Texas. Availability depends on technician scheduling and service region.


9. Privacy Policy

Information collected during scheduling or service is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


10. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling service or using our website, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.


If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our services.
